Audi A1 Rubber Stamped for Production

Confirmation from germancarblog.com that the Audi A1 will be entering production in 2009. The A1 will likely introduce the twincharger technology to the Audi range, which features both turbo and supercharging, thus removing the massive hole in power delivery at low RPM that small engines suffer from.

Audi S3 Quattro - 265 bhp (195kW) Rocket

Audi S3 - Front

The new Audi S3 Quattro, sporting all that is demanded of a premium hot hatch, was officially launched today. Powered by the 2.0L TFSI engine power peaks at 265 bhp (195kW) the S3 Quattro gets the power down using all four wheels taughtly strung for a solid sports feel.

The Audi S3 Quattro, with a sticker price of EUR 35,150 (approx USD $44,000) is primed to square up against the all paw powered VW R32 and M Spec BMW 130i in the premium hot hatch division.

Audi S3 Quattro - Sneak Peak

It is expected that the Audi will announce the new S3 Quattro tomorrow launching them back into the Hot Hatch segment. Pushing 260 hp to all four paws using the 2.0L FSI powerplant, the S3 will be a classy wolf in sheeps clothing to the unsuspecting bystander.

Pending weight and price considerations the S3 should be a corker and really line up nicely against the BMW 130 and VW R32 in the premium hot hatch segment.
