The Golf GTI W12 650 Concept unveiled recently @ Wörthersee 2007 set the crowd alight and rightly so. Powered by a mid-mounted 6.0-litre 12 cylinder bi-turbo engine delivering figures of 650Hp @ 6,000 rpm / 750Nm @ 4.500 rpm, the GTI W12 hunts down 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) in just 3.7 sec with a redline popping top speed of 325km/h (202 mph).
Extensive modifications including a lower and broader body than the stock GTI, additional air vents to cool the massive engine and the specially designed roof set an aggressive stance whilst still being respectful to the current Golf GTI.

In a clever marketing coup, Nissan have teamed with Production I.G to imprint the latest Infiniti concept cars in the psyche of many Ghost in the Shell fans across the globe.

The sharp lines of both concept cars work visually in the environment and prove that product placement can be done with class and respect to the audience.
