Seems that some of the XR5Turbo crew are receiving there shiny new LV XR5’s. We’ve been waiting quite some time for these to hit Australia shores, and finally they’re here!
Congratulations to 30LHC she just received delivery of her car, which I think is possibly the first LV in the country in a colour that we never had the honour of having. I must say it looks very sexy in white.

The LV is essentially a face lift to bring the designs in line with the rest of the Ford range. It has a few new nifity features, with some changes to the center console, start button and keyless entry.
What else to do on a rainy and cold winters morning? Take out your hot hatch for a drive through some of best roads Victoria has to offer.
Typical Melbourne winters day, cold, wet and horrible. Yet that didn’t stop a fantastic turn out of hot hatches on our cruise through the Yarra Ranges. 20 or so cars came along for the cruise, mainly XR4’s and XR5’s but we were lucky to have a very sexy SRi Turbo and WRX come along as well.

Ford have released a few more images of the next Focus RS. The pictures have been taken at the Nurburgring and I must say the car is looking very aggressive.

“The new Focus RS is as much a car for driving enthusiasts as the one before it and classic Ford RS models of the past. We’re staying true to the core RS principles of a no-compromise, affordable high performance road car you can live with. The new Focus RS will have the muscles, heart and soul of a genuine RS and will be exciting to drive every day,” Jost Capito - Team RS

As typical practice with car manufacturers looking to generate some buzz about runout models, Ford have created the devilishly handsome Fiesta ST500 Limited Edition (500 units).
Mechanically the ST500 LE remains identical to the current ST (XR4 in AU) with the rorty 2.0L Duratec 4 cylinder furnace, finely tuned sports suspension, a close ratio short shift gearbox and tweaked sports steering.
The ST500 LE has received a nice facelift as you will no doubt notice in the large number of pictures (available below on the click through). Highlights include 17″ black rims, red calipers, a custom bonnet U shape decal, Sony stereo system and leather heated seats. There will be only 500 units available and will be retailing for GBP 15,000.
Hold onto your nuts ladies and gents, it appears a lovely dealer somewhere in Europe leaked some photoshop edits of what is to be the new Ford Focus RS.

Ford Europe did an excellent job pilfering Lamborghini’s orange as the hero colour for the Ford Focus ST so it is only fitting they borrow the raging bull’s green for the RS.

Whilst we all wait to see what the final specifications will be, there is no doubt that the RS is indeed coming with many sites such as WorldCarFans reporting numerous sitings. I may start praying today that they’ll make their way to the Australian market.
